The purpose of the Bad River Watershed Association is to:
• Protect the high quality of the natural resources of the watershed;
• Promote community-wide responsible management and use of public and private lands and waters;
• Develop a knowledge base necessary for a deeper understanding of the regional ecosystems and the effects of human activity on those systems
• Serve as a pro-active community forum for education, coordination, and decision making affecting the resources of the watershed.
The Association will engage in any lawful activities that serve the purposes stated above, including data gathering and sharing, education, coordinating and partnering with other groups, fundraising and grant writing, watershed planning and management, providing input on resource-based management policies, and community-building among citizens of all ages.
